In Dnepropetrovsk region a wide range of fertilizers is produced: urea, ammonium nitrate, ammonium sulphate as well as compound fertilizers (NPK, MAP, DAP). The production is carried out in accordance with international standards. Different variants of packing are available. Please, find below the specification of urea as an example.

Urea of GOST 2081-92 of A and B top grades. Urea packing is carried out by modern equipment of Italian Company "PAGLIERANI". The equipment has been set into operation since September 2003. The production and packing technology guarantees the quality of the goods and exceeds GOST requirements. Due to dust suction system throughout the whole technological chain dust and mud presence in the product is totally cut out. It is positively reflected on the urea quality, decreasing its water content and increasing granulometric composition as well as static strength of granules.

Fraction of total granules' mass of the size from 2 mm to 4 mm is minimum 98%.

Biuret content is 0.8-0.9%

The capacity of the equipment is 20 MT per hour (one sack is done per 9 sec.)

Urea is packed in 50 kg polyethylene bags with accurancy to 0,02% (0,01kg). The thickness of the packing polyethylene is 170 micromicron. The size of a bag is 800х400х200 mm.

There are different kinds of delivery:

1. In polyethylene bags;

2. On Euro Pallets;

The bags are put together on a pallet of the European standards size (1200х800х1150 mm). One pallet is loaded with 15 bags (5 levels with three bags on each). The pallet with bags is additionally wrapped with shrinkable film. Net weight of one pallet is 750 kg.

3. In big-bags;

20 bags with urea are put into a big-bag. Net weight of a big-bag is 1000 kg.

The capacity of the warehouse is 180 mt of urea on pallets.

The loading is carried out into railway cars.

The capacity of one railway wagon is 30 mt of urea on pallets (there are 40 pallets), 60 mt. of urea packed in bags (depending on the loading process), and up to 40 mt of urea in big-bags.

Before loading each wagon is prepared carefully. It is done as follows: sharp articles and side covers are removed, and the ground is covered with crimped carton of 5 mm thickness.

The crimped carton is fixedly cramped to the inside cover of the wagon, which makes it no way for the bags to be damaged. The bags with urea are conveyed directly to the wagon.

The bags are tightly stacked by hand going straight from the conveyer line to the wagon so there is no space left.

After loading, doorway is installed with a wooden shield covered with crimpled carton. It cuts out the possibility for the doorway shield to damage the bags.

To unload the wagon, the doorway should be released from the shield. For this you need to saw up vertical timber and take them off moving the lumbers away one by one. The bags should be unloaded from the wagon only by hand in order to avoid damage of packing.
