Ecopress model

Located in Madrid, we manufacture and export small mobile or fixed  energy-autonomous and mobile units to produce solid bricks, hollow bricks, slabs, interlocking paving stone and other construction elements with local raw material everywhere. Our equipment is suitable for construction works in desert zones, after natural disasters or in any place in the World far from technological infrastructures. Very low cost of production, robust machinery easy to run and easy maintenance. Depending the model production from 240 to 340 bricks per hour.

Ecopress Machine

Our Ecopress Machine is an autonomous and mobile.

Standard Ecopress , with its features, offers the possibility to produce BRICKS, PAVING STONES and SLABS, normalized everywhere in the world.

Without installation, Production on one construction site and then the next one, and then the next one... or on a fixed location

General Description

The Machine is composed of assembled sub-elements that are connected and installed on a functional platform that allows the transportation and make the start-up on the construction works much easier.
Tractable kit

Mechanical

Very simple and robust, overdimensioned. 
Press slides without greasing. 
Almost without wear-out effect. 
The only mechanical tuning is for the height of the products which is done once per construction campaign. Tuning without tools

Mould

The matrix is simply slided between the guides
The top is installed on the press slide and is self-centered without tuning
The bottom of the mould is self-centered in the hole of the matrix
The substitution of one mould by another is very simple and quick.

Hydraulic

The cylinders of the press work at medium pressures and at controlled speed, in order to guarantee the span of life of the machine. 
The filter of oil has been studied to offer a reliable service even in the most severe conditions. 
The oil that is given as the first filling is of the best quality to ensure a perfect running-in. 
The pressure of the circuits is controlled by homologated security valves. 
The tubes and components are generously dimensioned to reduce the heating of the oil.
AeroCooler (without water) adapted to the production in the warmest countries.

Diesel engine

Chosen among the best of the market - Internationally known brand name.

Cycle 4 beats - Direct Injection - Natural aspiration - Air cooling - Lubrication under pressure - 2 vertical cylinders in line
Cylinders 864 cm3 - Puissance de 11 Ch ŕ 1.800 tr/mn (DIN 6271) - Consumption 175 grams per utilized HP
Consumption in normal running:  1.2 liters per hour
Capacity of the crankcase: 3.5 dm3 of oil - Gasohol Deposit for 8 hours of autonomy Sound level according to the norms.

Production

The 24 x 24 production is possible with 3 teams.
We recommend working shifts of 7 hours per team
The semi-automatic production of the Ecopress Machine is:

320 bricks per hour
5 m2 of simple wall thickness 115 mm
or 4,5 m2 of double wall of 24 cm thickness (very insulating «capucine»-type)
or 10 m2 of floor paving or facades

Consumption 

Energy:  fuel for the diesel engine: 1.2 liters/hour of gasoil
Raw materials: 928 kg per hour
Cement: 80 kg for massive brick production or 96 kg for overdosed paving production
Water:  the necessary hydrate point according to humidity of the raw material (almost nothing)
Hydraulic oil: full deposit each 1500 running hours

Operations

The functioning is semi-automatic. Direct action on a small hydraulic stick.
No human effort is necessary for producing
No wrong order can be given
Total security for the staff in the works

Starting up of the Diesel engine by starting handle.
No electrical component installed

During the production: every 2 min the feeding hopper should be fed with 34 Kg of prepared mass.
The Worker lays each product on a pallet or on the floor.

Only 2 operations

  1. Push the lever down and the following sequence happens automatically: the mould closes down, pre-compression and Hyper-compression and opening of the mould.
  2. Pull the lever up: the newly-made brick gets out of the mould and is presented on the reception table ready for the operator to take it; the mould gets filled by the mass of the next brick...

Maintenance

Cleaning after each team change or each working session.
We will never emphasize enough the need to clean the machine in general and more specifically the mold.

No mechanical greasing

Classical maintenance of a Diesel Engine, done by a mechanic (recommended)

Hydraulic maintenance: change filters and keep the oil level into the deposit

No other special care on the machine apart form the fact that care in general for the machine helps to keep it new longer.

The production staff

The production staff includes:

  • 1 Foreman
  • 3 Workers for the preparation of the mass
  • 1 Worker for the laying of the bricks on a pallet
  • + optional assistant(s)

Raw material for our bricks

The solid brick is made of raw materials, cement and water as supplement.

Earth, extracted near the construction site.
Commonly called «earth» but more precisely, we use raw subsoils, without previous treatment This raw material that should not have more than 2% of clay, is poured into the reception hopper, then crushed and mixed with cement... then the mass is humidified (if necessary) and hyper compressed in our Machines.

Cement, hydraulic binder, Portland-type, quality CPJ 350 or higher grade. Cement is poured into the mixer by dose with each mass preparation.

Water as supplement is needed, just enough to humidify the cement.

Optionally and depending on the type of construction element that will be produced, it is possible to add colorant into the mass during the preparation.

Quantities for 1 solid brick:
Raw material : 2,95 Kg
Cement : 250 grams
Water : less than 50 cl
