Our Polyglass Tape (also known as Armature Banding Tape, Resiglass Tape, Fibre Banding Tape) is made from continuous filaments, high tensile electrical grade glass yarn, impregnated with thermosetting polyester base resin. The yarns are laid parallel to form a thin flat ribbon & utilising maximum tensile strength of the glass to give an exceptional strength.
As supplied the banding tape is soft & pliable with a slight amount of tack. During the cure the resin flows & fill voids & air space to produce a homogenous laminate. Finally, the fully cured band is rigid with a hard-smooth resin rich surface & forming a void free homogenous mixture of glass & resin.
Our Polyglass tape is a High strength, resin-impregnated, moisture resistant, armature banding, fibre glass tape.
Service Proven :
Our Polyglass Tape ® is primarily to restrain the end of armature coils (slot section) in heavy duty DC motors & generator. They form a high strength hoop, holding the coils in place, against the large centrifugal forces produced by armature rotation. Our Polyglass Tape have been reliably performing this function on all types of DC Machine, from mill motors to locomotive drives for over 10 years. Our Polyglass Tape is composed entirely of non-conducting materials. This eliminates insulation & creepage problem which was experienced previously with steel bands. The smooth & glossy cured surface resist direct adhesion & provides excellent arc resistance, minimising the possibility of flashover.

Glass fibre tapes are manufactured from ‘E’ glass yarn which has an alkali (k) content less than 1% calculated as Na2O. All the qualities available are plain weave.
Identification : The tapes shall have a selvedge & a center line in red colour construction covered by IS 5352 - 1988 (Indian Standard).

Woven Polyester Tape
Polyester tape unidirectional tape for electrical insulation as an insulating material. Our Woven Polyester Tape are manufactured from 100% Polyester filament yarn.
Identification :
All the qualities available are plain weave. And above 0.3mm thick shall be woven in herringbone weave electrical insulation tapes. The tape shall have a selvedge & center line in Red colour.

Insulation putty for electrical insulation
Insulation putty for electrical insulation like gap filling in windings, armatures, stators and other electric apparatus for insulation
Our Putty is a Non-Asbestos, Moisture Resistant slate filled, solventless putty made of two part material (One part: Powder - 0.618 Kg & One part : Resin - 0.382 Kg) required to be mixed at the time of application and is converted to a tough infusible solid by heat. Our putty is recommended for filling, potting, encapsulating and insulating all types of Electrical Appratus and Electronics components. It is particularly suitable for filling voids and spaces in Traction Motors and Generators. Because it is solventless, it eliminates many environmental and health problems for the user.
Application
Our Putty can be applied by knife/spatula or by hand.
# Curing Cycle 8 hrs after unit reaches 90o C or
# 6 hrs after unit reaches 125o C or
# 4 hrs after unit reaches 150o C

Recommended for Gap filling in windings, armatures, stators and other electric apparatus for insulation, coating, heat transfer or environmental protection.
