JMF
manufactures since 1989 exclusive Canadian chargers-regenerators
for 1 to 20 lead
liquid electrolyte batteries
6,12 and 24 volts for motorcycles,
cars, trucks, buses, forklifts, heavy duty equipments...
Using preventively JMF for storage batteries maintenance
increases considerably the batteries longevity.
Nota:
the voltage of the battery, from 1 to 240 volts, the use of it
(motorcycle, car, truck, heavy duty equipment ..), the form, the number
of terminals have no importance if it is a lead
& liquid electrolyte battery. Of
course the the JMF236 does not regenerate flashlight and by-products
batteries... Sizes: 33 x 32
x 38 cm; weight: about 13 kg without the battery cables
Sizes of the export box: length 61 x width 40,6 x height
41,9
cm. Volume: 68,1 liters. Weight 22 kg.
The regeneration cycle for 20 batteries (6 and 12 volts basis) is from 12 to 24 hours, depending
the batteries condition. See
user manual
JMF236
machines are available in 110 or 220 volts.

maintenance and repair problems Required
space:
If
used in normal conditions, the apparatus can be installed on a working
table of a reduced dimension having 75cm in depth by 2 meters in length
including the required space to hold 20 batteries for accumulators to be
processed. It’s all the
required space for the whole operation. Warning: the
ungluing of the lead sulphate releases fumes and during the
regeneration, the place must be ventilated.
How does a liquid battery
becomes spoilt ?
See
FAQ about car batteries
A
battery has a life expectancy between 18 to 30 months according to its
use. Most of the batteries
are spoilt by the accumulation of lead sulphate (PBSo4) which covers the
small plate of the battery forming an insulating film.
This happens often since the batteries undergoes a lot of charges
and discharges. The World
Council for Batteries stipulates that 84% of the used batteries are
damaged by the sulfate. The
sulphurization appears when
the battery has no charge. The
more the battery is charged the
worse is the sulphurization. The
sulphurization appears as an insulating film which covers the plates.
It is a natural electrochemical process happening in the battery
during the charge\discharge cycles.
The electrochemical phenomenon spoiling the battery is as
follows:
H2S04
+ H20
+ Pbo __________ PbS04 +
2(H20)
Sulphuric
Acid + Water + Lead Oxide
======
lead sulfate +
water
The
molecules of lead sulphate PbS04 forms the suphurization which is a hard
and insulating substance. On
the part of the suphurization, the electrotypes do not receive any
current allowing the charges. A
sulphated battery cannot perform or be appropriately recharged.
A process of energetic recharge may slightly diminish and for a
short period of time alter this phenomenon but this does not mean that
the sulphate will disappear. The
battery is therefore considered as condemned.
Regeneration
process for batteries
The
regenerator sends in its batteries a rectified current, not
filtered, of a high volt AC on the lead plates of the battery.
The plates are once again unexposed, conductive and the battery is ready to be recharged and to start
a new or a longer life, depending their initial condition.
The
unsulphurization process that we successfully use reverse the
accumulation of the sulphate in the batteries
For
obvious reasons a battery regenerator JMF236 can' t regenerate very old
or broken batteries: the batteries that
cannot be regenerated consist often of
batteries not damaged by sulphurization but too old to be regenerated,
with electrical problems because over charged or
with important damages on
casing.
For details:
See
user manual
The
process of regeneration allows the battery to recuperate a good capacity
and extend it’s life expectancy. The
overcharge, the quality and the acid adjustments are not points allowing
a permanent sulphurization. The
best of programs cannot win over this electrochemical process. Therefore, regeneration is the solution for the rejuvenation of
the battery.
In
conclusion the purpose of the
regeneration is to reuse used batteries that are once again able to
fulfill their functions and to extend batteries life.
Regenerate a new car, truck or motorcycle battery each year allows best
results, to extend the life of this battery and to spare money of
frequent replacements.
The
best of JMF
chargers-regenerators
The difference between JMF and competition is not not only the
best price:
- JMF is only specialized in batteries
- The JMF was developed by an expert in batteries and not an
electrician or electronics technician
- The JMF machines are reliable and tested minimum 24 hours before any
delivery
- The JMF machines are durable
-
Using preventively JMF for storage batteries maintenance increases
considerably the batteries longevity.
